Edwin Arlington Robinson Walking Tour

Come join us for our final guided walking tour of Gardiner, Maine, the hometown of Edwin Arlington Robinson for this season. On this tour you will become acquainted with the people and places that influenced the life of this outstanding American poet. Many of the sites have changed little from the time Robinson walked the streets of his neighborhood. This is an exterior only tour and we ask all visitors to respect the owners’ privacy.
The tour will begin at 10am by the Edwin Arlington Robinson monument in the Gardiner Commons on Brunswick Ave. (Rte. 201). The first portion of the walk will take approximately 2 hours and is about a 2 mile walk. The second portion will include the historic downtown sites and it will take about 45 minutes. The tour is sponsored by the Gardiner Public Library. Special group tours can be arranged by calling the library.
