RFP for Bike Trail Design
Request for Proposals

The City of Gardiner, Maine is requesting proposals for Preliminary Engineering Design  services for construction of a new ? mile pedestrian and bicycle trail system.  The trail design will connect the Kennebec Rail Trail to Route 126, crossing over Route 201 behind Hannaford Bros, and include trestle improvements over the Cobbossee Stream.  The work includes assisting the City in locally administering this City, Maine Department of Transportation and Federal funded (LAP) project.  

A pre-proposal meeting will be held at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2007 and all consultants are invited. Attendance is not a pre-requisite to submitting a proposal.

Proposal informational packets may be obtained by calling Gardiner’s Planning & Development Department at 582-6888 or visiting the City’s website at www.gardinermaine.com or by clicking here.  Completed proposals must be delivered by 12:00 Noon on Monday, May 14th, 2007 to:
