The City of Gardiner embarks on exciting “Sidewalk Re-Construction Project”
As part of the 2008 budget process the Gardiner City Council has strongly endorsed
the proposed Sidewalk Re-Construction Project. Manager Kobrock, stated that
“sidewalks in Gardiner are going to receive much needed attention this fiscal year. It
is going to be an exciting project. Gardiner is already known as great walking
community. Upgrading sidewalks and continuing to encourage this mode of exercise
and transportation will build on the City’s already known desirability. We can’t wait to
get started ”
To complete this project the City will be appointing a committee to review sidewalk
priorities and make recommendations to the Gardiner City Council.
