REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Fill Material Removal

The City of Gardiner, Maine is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for fill removal at the following municipally-owned parcels. 1) Waterfront park. Site contains soils, stumpage, rocks, etc. at new boardwalk park location. 2) Libby Hill business park (lot 11). Site contains large boulders around perimeter of existing fill area and several loads of timber stumpage. Proposals can be based on removing material from both locations, or as individual sites. Proposals shall include a timeline for removal, with all removal completed by November 30th. Proposals may include offers, if contractor is proposing to remove fill at no cost to the City or for a purchase price.
Proposals must be clearly marked: “Fill Removal Proposal”. Completed proposals must be delivered by 4:00 PM on Thursday, October 25th, 2007 to:

Submittals delivered after the deadline will not be considered. There will be an optional proposal meeting held at City Hall at 11 AM on Monday, October 22nd. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DATE HAS BEEN CORRECTED.) The City of Gardiner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and negotiate the final scope of each project.
