Cobbossee Corridor Bike/Ped Trail “Kick-Off” Meeting April 17th
Cobbossee Corridor Bike/Ped Trail “Kick-Off” Meeting April 17th

Gardiner, ME, April 10, 2008 —The public is invited to attend a “Kick Off” information meeting on Thursday, April 17th, at 6 PM, here at City Hall, to discuss the City’s Cobbossee Corridor Bike & Pedestrian trail project.  The new trail would connect the current Kennebec River Rail Trail (trail head at Hannaford’s), cross Bridge Street, run parallel to the Summer Street Extension, cross the Cobbossee Stream trestle, and end near the old winery building on Route 126.  The purpose of the meeting is to bring the public up to date on the overall planning and design process, review two alternate trail system routes, discuss project funding, and hear any concerns or ideas the public would like to share.  The public is highly encouraged to attend the meeting on the 17th and participate!
