SUMMER BOOK/BAKE AND PLANT SALE
Saturday, June 21 and Monday, June 23 2008
It is time for our summer book sale! All are welcome to come and browse and get some great deals on Saturday, June 21st (9:00am-4:00pm): Most hardcover books – 50 cents, children’s books – 25 cents and most paperbacks – 25 cents. Videos and audio books priced as marked. Sorry, we will not be holding a preview sale this year. We will also have baked goods for sale as well as locally donated plants for sale. Donations will be happily accepted up to the day of the sale.
Monday, June 23rd (10:30am-4:00pm) is sale day: Buy a bag of books for a buck (a bag can hold up to 20 items). The Gardiner Public Library is located at 152 Water Street, Gardiner, Maine. Come support the library and get some great books!
This sale is part of our annual Celebrate Gardiner Festival that will include many fun-filled family events. There will be events on the Waterfront, at the Gardiner Commons and on Water Street. Trolley rides available throughout the day with 2 Edwin Arlington Robinson Tours scheduled at 10:30am and 2pm on the trolley.
