The Gardiner Library Association's Historic Homes of Gardiner Tour was a great success and we raised almost $2000 to be used towards library restoration and maintenance of signs on our Edwin Arlington Robinson Walking Tour. All of our success is due to the enthusiastic volunteers and the homeowners who allowed us access to their beautiful houses.
The Association would also like to thank all of our wonderful local artists who donated their time and craft to creating wonderful, artistic variations of our mascot, the sturgeon. Each house on the tour displayed these unique objects of art so that people on the tour could follow the route.
Gardiner is so lucky to have such a vibrant community of talented artists who volunteer time and talent to the city. The library would like to thank Karen Adrianne, Kate Buehner, Judy Herman, Scott Minzy, Paula Collier, Nancy Barons, Christine Sullivan, John Carnes, Jean Parkin-Clunie, Maggie Smith and Betty Heselton. Please remember to support your local artists!
