Come join us for a guided walking tour of Gardiner, Maine, the boyhood home of Edwin Arlington Robinson. On this tour you will become acquainted with the people and places that influenced the life of this outstanding American poet. Many of the sites have changed little from the time Robinson walked the streets of his neighborhood. This is an exterior only tour and we ask all visitors to respect the owners’ privacy.
The tour will begin at 10am by the Edwin Arlington Robinson monument in the Gardiner Commons on Brunswick Ave. (Rte. 201). The walk will take approximately 1 1/2 hours and is about a 2 mile walk. Please go to www.earobinson.com to learn about Gardiner's famous poet. This event is sponsored by the Gardiner Library Association.
Come and join the fun!
