EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
The Gardiner Main Street Program encourages downtown economic and cultural vitality through concentrated efforts of organization, design, promotion and economic revitalization, while protecting Gardiner’s unique historic character. Gardiner Main Street is seeking qualified candidates to interview for the position of Executive Director.
Gardiner Main Street seeks the following professional candidate characteristics: An ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, urban planning, business administration or related field and/or with experience working in downtown development; will have working knowledge of real estate fundamentals, understand State & Local downtown development laws, programs & initiatives; must be an enthusiastic business professional possessing an outgoing, sales oriented, leadership style in order must have a proven ability to provide direction and develop consensus among volunteer staff & community; computer literacy is required; must be detail orientated with strong time management skills; must be capable of executing a number of multiple initiatives simultaneously (multi-tasking);must possess strong
organizational skills to allow for executing multiple initiatives. Must be able to recruit & train a volunteer staff and MUST delegate effectively.
Salary & Benefits: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 annually based upon experience & job fit; (3) Weeks of PTO for Sick, Vacation & Holidays, and competitive Medical Benefits Plan.
