Upcoming Warm-up Wednesdays Movie Event titles include the first James Bond movie, Dr. No starring Sean Connery (02/11), the enchanting comedy, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2/18) and the thought-provoking story, Philadelphia (2/25). Free popcorn for all movie goers! The movies will be shown in our beautiful and warm Hazzard Reading Room and they begin at 2:30pm.
Beginning Saturday, February 14, 2009 and on the second Saturday of each month, we will offer a Saturday Matinee for kids in the Hazzard Reading Room at 10am. Our first feature presentation will be the Oscar nominated movie, Wall-E. This is the story of a small robot who lives in our future. He lives alone on a dead planet that looks very familiar. He falls in love with a "search" robot who appears on his planet with an agenda to make reports back about the terrain. Upcoming Saturday Matinee titles include Space Buddies (3/14) and Beverly Hills Chihuahua (4/11). Please feel free to bring along your own refreshments for the Saturday matinee.
