The Gardiner Public Library is proud to announce that it is a recipient of a 2009 Planning Grant from Maine Reads! Before we plan on applying for a full grant, we would like to hear your ideas of how we can improve literacy for our very young readers (ages 3-6) and start them on a road to life-long reading and learning. Please plan on attending this public forum. The moderator will be Michael Estrada, news director for Blueberry Broadcasting (also known as on-air personality “Mr. Mike” on WTOS). We will also have snacks and refreshments at the forum. Come share your ideas!
