Wednesday Movie Matinee
Wednesday, April 29th at 2:30pm in the Hazzard Reading Room of the library, our Wednesday Movie Matinee feature is STAND BY ME (1986) starring Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Kiefer Sutherland and directed by Rob Reiner.
Set in Oregon in 1959 the film portrays the lives of four boys (ages 12- 13) who go on an overnight camping trip to find a missing teenager’s body but who ultimately find out a lot about themselves in the process. The film is based on a short story by Stephen King.
