Wednesday, May 6th at 2:30pm in the Hazzard Reading Room of the library, our Wednesday Movie Matinee feature is FOUL PLAY (1978) starring Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase. “Beware of the dwarf.” With this warning from a hitchhiker, librarian Goldie Hawn is thrust into a world as an innocent pawn in a bizarre and screwball plot to assassinate the pope during his visit to San Francisco. Chase is the detective who is not sure whether he should believe her stories. Together they face an albino attack, The Turk,
Esme the python, and grandmothers playing Scrabble with expletives. It’s a great mix of comedy and suspense.
