Due to unseasonably warm temperatures ice that has formed in the Kennebec has started to break free. A large chunk has broken free in Augusta and is now stuck. This has caused the Waterfront Park in Augusta to flood, the same thing may happen here. As such we are alerting you of potential flooding which may occur late Tuesday, January 26th & Wednesday, January 27th, 2010.
