Sealed bids for the South Gardiner Pump Station will be received by the City of Gardiner at the Gardiner City Hall, 6 Church Street, Gardiner, ME  04345, until 10:00 AM, local time, March 10, 2010,  and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.  Proposals received after that time will not be accepted.  Each bidder must submit a single sealed envelope addressed to Charles M. Applebee, Director of Public Works at Gardiner City Hall, the outside of which must be clearly marked "Bid Enclosed for City of Gardiner, South Gardiner Pump Station Upgrade Project."  The bid submittal should only include a completed and signed Proposal Form.  No proposal may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of proposals.

The project includes upgrading the South Gardiner Pump Station with a new submersible pump system installed in the existing wetwell; associated piping, electrical, instrumentation, controls and appurtenances; other miscellaneous improvements as indicated on the drawings and specifications.  Arrangements to visit the project site should be made through Charles M. Applebee, Director of Public Works and Wastewater Superintendent, City of Gardiner, telephone 207-582-1351.
