Hogs, Pies and Fireworks
The skies will be festive with the glow of fireworks, the streets will come alive with the rumbling of motorcycles, and the air filled with the scent of savory pizza in Gardiner on May 28th. Starting at 6:30 PM on the Friday of Memorial Day Weekend will be a motorcyle parade down Water Street and pizza tasting competition with 10 local businesses participating. Then, at dusk will be one of hte largest fireworks displays of the summer by Central Maine Pyrotechnics at Gardiner's Waterfront Park.
To participate in the parade or for questions call the Gardiner Main Street office, 582-3100 or email them at info@gardinermainestreet.org. The event is free, with the opportunty to sample and buy some great tasting food!. All proceeds of this event will go to benefit Gardiner Main Street.
