It is time for our spring/summer book sale! All are welcome to come and browse and get some great deals on Saturday, June 19, 2010 (9:00am-4:00PM): Most hardcover books – $1.00, children’s books – 50 cents and most paperbacks – 50 cents. Videos and audio books will be priced as marked. We will also have a special cart of older books priced as marked. The book sale is part of the Greater Gardiner River Festival and there are events planned throughout the day. Also on
June 19th, the library will be holding an author book signing event in our Children’s Room from 10AM until noon. Local author, Shirley Hanley will have copies of her book, Horse Memories of Luck Ahead” for sale and she will stay to autograph copies after the workshop. The Children’s Room is on the second floor of the library and has elevator access.
Monday, June 21, 2010 (10:30am-5:00pm) is sale day: buy a bag of books for a buck (a bag can hold up to 20 items).
All proceeds will help defray the costs of the restorations to the library. The book sale will be held in our newly air-conditioned Hazzard Reading Room on the main floor. This is a great time to see our newly renovated main floor!
