Come join us at the library for Tuesday Story and Crafts Hour. The hour is geared for children 3-years-old and older and we supply the story, the crafts materials and…the fun! This program is held every Tuesday at 10:30AM in our beautifully restored Children’s Room.
Rhoda MacMaster, our enthusiastic and animated story hour volunteer, joyously reads to her audience, leads them in song and, sometimes, the kids kick up and dance! After the story is over, the innovative and talented Missy Abbott takes over and offers an arts and crafts project for the children. Missy has designed wonderful projects for the seasons and children get to take home their creations.
If you have not visited the Children’s Room lately, why not bring your child, your grandchild or just a young friend to our story hour? While the children play adults can meet and greet each other and share their parenting knowledge. What a great way to make new friends for the young and the “not so” young!
The Gardiner Public Library is located at 152 Water Street in Gardiner. For more information about this program and other library programs please call us at 207-582-3312.
