Carriage House in Gardiner, Maine

This grand example of classic Stevens architecture is located in a 19th century
neighborhood in Gardiner at 18 Dennis Street – 15 minutes south of the state
capitol on the Kennebec River.

The property, built in 1903, contains 13 rooms and offers 4735 square feet of
living space. The lot is approximately .51 acres, Tax Map 34, Lot 181.

The structure has suffered significant foundation damage. A full engineering
structural report is available at www.gardinermaine.com. The City Council has
granted authority to the Gardiner Historic Preservation Committee to market
this structure by soliciting bids up until March 1, 2011.
