Turn your heat to low and come watch movies at the library! Join us on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 2:30PM in our beautiful Hazzard Reading Room for our third week of Theater Thursdays at the library. We will be screening the Apostle (1998) starring Robert Duvall. It is the emotionally charged story of Sonny (Robert Duvall), an earnest, charismatic minister who finds his world crumbling around him when he discovers that his wife Jessie (Farrah Fawcett) is in love with Horace (Todd Allen), a younger minister. Sonny falls prey to violence and obsession and is forced to leave everything and everyone behind after he puts Horace in a coma.
These events are free and open to the public. Please feel free to bring your own movie snacks!
