Have you visited the Gardiner Public Library's bookstore yet? If you spend much of your time driving, and you enjoy listening to books, you may want to pop into the store. A generous library supporter has donated over 40 different books on audio-cassette. These books generally retail for more than $40.00 but the store has them priced at $10.00 while they last! Authors include John Grisham, Patricia Cornwell and many titles by Stephen King.
The bookstore is located at 242 Water Street, Gardiner, Maine. The store rents space within the Lisa’s Legit Burritos store. What makes this store, Book It!, so unique is that all proceeds from sales will be used for the renovations of the library’s Community Archives Room - a collection of unique local history, genealogical materials, rare maps and manuscripts.
