Clarence McKay to be Honored

Where:  Gardiner City Council Chambers
When:   November 7 at 7 pm

On November 7, the City of Gardiner will honor the service of Clarence McKay, who served as the Chair of the City’s Historic Preservation Commission for nearly two decades. A Gardiner native, Mr. McKay worked for many years at the Kennebec Journal as photographer before his retirement. In addition to his service on the historic board, he is very active in his church, St. Joseph Catholic Church, holding many positions of leadership.

The City will present Mr. McKay with a plaque for his long and faithful service. Please join us on November 7 at 7 pm at the City Council meeting to applaud his efforts on behalf of the city.
