Professional/personal development workshop - Seats Available!

As part of its ongoing "Heart and Soul" project, the City of Gardiner is offering workshops to anyone who lives, works, or volunteers in Gardiner to help build leadership capacity among the City's businesses and organizations.  The professional/personal development workshops will take place in July, August, and September at various locations, and are facilitated by top trainers in the field.
Organizers of the series place the value of this professional development series at roughly $400.  Those who complete the entire series will be presented with a certificate of completion.  All participants will be entered in a drawing for a Gardiner gift pack made up of items from local businesses.    Thanks to the Orton Foundation, there is no cost for registration for anyone who lives, works, or volunteers in Gardiner.  Online registration is available at  Registration will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis; space is limited.  Dates and locations for the workshops are:
  • Meeting for Action 7/30 -  4-7pm Boys and Girls Club -  7  Pray St. - led by Carole Martin
  • Making Social Media Work for You 8/5 - 4-7pm Johnson Hall - 280 Water St. - led by Matt Rideout of Nancy Marshall Communications
  • Taking the Fear out of Fundraising 8/27 - 4-7pm American Legion Post - 46 Griffin St. - led by Bob Demont of Demont Associates
  • Conflict Transformation: 9/9 - 4-7pm Christ Church Episcopal - 2 Dresden Av. - led by Craig Freshly of Good Group Decisions
