Gardiner Police Department – Anticipated Full Time Police Officer
The Gardiner Police Department is seeking a highly motivated person to serve in its community oriented and progressive police department. If you are presently a certified Law Enforcement Officer, or aspire for a career helping others in the public safety field, we'd like to hear from you!

To be considered for this outstanding opportunity, applicants shall be at least 21 years of age (or 20 years of age with 60 college credits), have a valid Maine driver’s license and in addition, candidates that are not full-time certified must have received a minimum score of 42 on the Maine Criminal Justice Academy ALERT Test and have recently passed and/or be able to successfully complete the Maine Criminal Justice Academy’s physical agility test. The next physical agility test offered at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy is on Wednesday, November 6th and all non full time certified candidates are strongly encouraged to attend. Leading candidates will undergo Oral Board interviews, background investigation, polygraph and or psychological testing and a medical exam.
Those with Maine Criminal Justice Academy certification will be given preference.
