The staff at the Gardiner Public Library announces an upcoming workshop with authors John Ford and Mark Nickerson. The workshop will be held in the library’s Hazzard Reading Room on Tuesday, April 29th from 7-8:30PM. The authors will have books for sale and they have offered to sign any books already purchased. Because space is limited, free tickets will be given out at the main desk of the library. Sorry, no reservations will be taken and there is a limit of 2 tickets per person.
Please plan on attending this entertaining program as Ford and Nickerson discuss their careers in the Maine Warden Service and the Maine State Police Department. In Suddenly the Cider Didn’t Taste So Good, John Ford writes about all that is expected of a game warden and his stories are often funny and poignant. In Blue Lights in the Night, Mark Nickerson brings the reader along as he patrols our rural state and highlights all that the Maine State Police accomplish while on duty.
The Gardiner Public Library is located at 152 Water Street, Gardiner, Maine. Come and listen to their fascinating stories! Please call (207)582-3312 for more information.
