SUMMER STREET REDEVELOPMENT RFP
The City of Gardiner is seeking proposals from qualified firms for the redevelopment of City-owned land and improvements located at 1 Summer Street in Gardiner. The City is currently in the process of applying for Brownfield grants to clean-up the properties on the T.W. Dick campus, which includes this lot.
The City has partnered with Maine General Medical Center as they wish to find a suitable developer to build and lease a 10,000-15,000 square foot medical arts facility at this location. The successful firm will: have past experience with similar projects and show an understanding of the project and goals as outlined in the City’s Request for Qualifications (RFQ); offer a competitive lease rate and purchase price for the lot(s); commit to other redevelopment projects in Gardiner; and have the personnel, capability, and experience to complete this project within the RFQ timeline.
For more information on the project and award criteria, please click here to download the complete RFQ on the City’s website or pick up a hard copy at City Hall. Proposals are due by 4:00 pm (ET) on November 6, 2015.
