Section 3701. Purpose
ss 3701 Purpose
A. Gardiner possesses a unique and diverse cultural heritage as a river front community. The purpose of this ordinance is to promote the general welfare of the community by providing a mechanism to identify and preserve distinctive historic and architectural characteristics of Gardiner, while recognizing the need to allow repairs or alterations to buildings to promote energy efficiency and contemporary use of properties.
