1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Rines called the meeting to order at 7:00
2. ROLL CALL

3. PETITIONS, COMMUNICATIONS, RESOLUTIONS, & PUBLIC HEARINGS
3.1 Consideration of Comments from the Public on Issues that
Do Not Appear Elsewhere on the Agenda (Please limit comments
to five minutes.)
No Public comment.
4. NEW BUSINESS
4.1 Consideration of Resolution 04-08 Downtown Revitalization Phase II Budget
Formal approval for budget for the Phase II of the Downtown Revitalization. Many projects are scheduled with this part of the project, burying utility lines in the Arcade Parking Lot being the biggest.
Motion by Councilor Hanley and seconded by Councilor Dellert to Accept Resolution 04-08 Downtown Revitalization Phase II Budget.
Vote: 8 in favor 0 – opposed Motion: passes
5. CITY MANAGERS REPORT
Manager Kobrock stated that the E-packets will be sent out weekly according by size. CD will be sent out if it is too large, an email will be sent out weekly telling the Council as too what to expect.
The Masons are talking about transferring ownership of the Central Street School. Manager Kobrock toured the building recently and it is good shape for an old building. The Council will be kept up to date on developments.
Past City Manager Kokernak’s son died today in Augusta, he was only twenty one.
5. COUNCIL DISCUSSION AND PUBLIC COMMENTS
Councilor Rambo stated that the Board of Trade had its 118th Annual Meeting last night, it was a good turnout.
Councilor Hart stated it has been brought to his attention the McKay park is used to walk many dogs, the dog manure has become a problem. Manager Kobrock stated that there used to a sign but it has disappeared, he will talk to the Public Works crew.
Councilor Hanley stated that next Wednesday is St. Patrick’s Day, there will a parade in Portland on Sunday that he will be marching representing the City of Gardiner.
Mayor Rines stated that the Gardiner Celebration will be next week with the Governor attending, please try to join the Celebration.
ADJOURN TO WORKSHOP
Mayor Rines adjourned the meeting at 7:50 pm to go into an Audit Workshop.
