City of Gardiner, Maine Special Meeting 7: 00 PM
1. CALL TO ORDER
Councilor Hart in the absence of Mayor Rines called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
2. ROLL CALL
Dennis Doiron, At-Large Richard Rambo, District 2
Lewis Benner, At-Large Richard Nickless, District 1
Phil Hart, District 4
Mayor Rines, Councilors Dellert & Colwell absent.
3. PETITIONS, COMMUNICATIONS, RESOLUTIONS, & PUBLIC HEARINGS
3.1 Consideration of Comments from the Public on Issues that
Do Not Appear Elsewhere on the Agenda (Please limit comments
to five minutes.)
Mayor Rines is present.
Ralph Clark came to express comments regarding City Manager evaluation.
Mayor Rines asked if there were any objections to adding an Addendum Item, there were none.
Councilor Colwell present
Motion by Councilor Rambo and seconded by Councilor Colwell add Addendum Item.
Vote: 7 in favor 0 – opposed Motion: passes
1.Report of WWTP Garage Roof.
Chuck Applebee, Superintendent of WWTP stated that with the weekend wind and rain the WWTP garage roof was damaged. The cost of the roof is quoted as $8000.00, the insurance will cover $7000.00, the City has a $1000.00 deductible.
Motion by Councilor Rambo and seconded by Councilor Benner to go into Executive Session.
Vote: 7 in favor 0 – opposed Motion: passes
4. EXECUTIVE SESSION per MRSA, Title 1, Chapter 13, Section 405 (6) (A)
Personnel
The Council discussed various options on performing the City Manager evaluation.

Mayor Rines adjourned the meeting at 10:00 pm.
