In September of 2004, the Gardiner City Council voted to reorganize Code Enforcement, Planning, Tax Assessing, and Economic and Community Development into a new structure known as the Department of Planning & Development.
The new structure places staff in a fully functional, pro-active planning and development department where day-to-day decisions are made in a highly collaborative and cooperative atmosphere. To meet the staff, please click HERE.
In Fall of 2005, the City was federally designated as a Preserve America community after it submitted an application to the US Advisory Council on Historic Preservation. For more info about Preserve America click on the logo!
