1) Approval of Minutes from Previous Meeting
Anne motioned, Nelson seconded, to approve September 9th, 2003 minutes as presented. All in favor.
2) Loan Applications
a) Karen Adrienne/Barker Block
The group was supportive of loaning funds for a "arts colony" project with gallery, studio, and living space. The project dovetails nicely with Gardiner Main Street's vision -- "Where Originality Matters". The financial information provided was acceptable. No motion was made, but the general consensus was to loan no more than $50,000, and that the group should seek other funding sources for the $250,000+ project. Chris would see if this was of any interest to the group.
3) Regular Review of RLF Accounts
4) Other Business
a) Johnson Hall
Nelson motioned, Anne seconded, to recommend that City Council approve the Johnson Hall Inc. request for a $25,000/year commitment for 2 years, provided the Johnson Hall Task Force is put in place. All in favor.
5) Economic Development Director's Report
6) Schedule Next Meeting -- The next meeting was scheduled for 11/4/03 at the Gardiner Public Library.
