The Arcade Passageway, the main pedestrian connection between the Arcade Parking Lot and Downtown Gardiner, is due for some major improvements, thanks to Gardiner's second Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Downtown Revitalization award, announced in 2003. The planned improvements include a new stairway, better lighting, and security cameras to enhance the passageway as an attractive, safe, and inviting Downtown pedestrian access to Parking.
