The City of Gardiner uses a Allianz mechanical street sweeper. As soon as weather permits in the spring we will start the street sweeping process. Our hope is to get out early, before everyone starts opening up their houses, and use the dust control system on the sweeper to help decrease the inconvenience many residents experience from the dust that sweeping creates. If you need sweeping done on your street or in your neighborhood, even after we do our initial sweep, don't hesitate to call Public Works. We will be glad to come down and give your road a sweep. We also do the downtown every other week during the summer. This will include sweepng off the sidewalks and running the sweeper around the downtown roads, Arcade parking lot, and the waterfront parking lot. Once again, if you have any requests or recommendations please don't hesitate to call or contact Public Works.
