UPCOMING MEETINGS
Next Week's City Council Workshop Agenda
Next Week's City Meetings are available on our Calendar

FY 2010 Budget Development

At the upcoming Council meeting we will look at a development and adoption schedule. The management team has been working on FY 10 budgets for some time and will finalize their submissions over the weekend for a Monday deadline. The immediate milestone is February 11. With lightening fast turnaround, our financial team will develop summarized projections for the February 11 Council meeting. That discussion will provide vitally important direction for the next phase of budget preparation. We expect to publish the proposed budget in mid-April.

Tax Increment Financing Workshop

At the upcoming meeting we will spend time on our TIF programs. A consulting team has been studying our current TIF strategies, while developing options for an update incorporating the Business Park expansion. This should be a fascinating report with important policy implications for the future.
