UPCOMING MEETINGS
For Next Week's City Meetings are available on our Calendar

Former Mayor Bourgoin Passes Away

Patty Bourgoin, Gardiner Mayor 1991 – 1993 passed away unexpectedly at her Alexandria Drive home earlier this week. Patty is being remembered by her Council colleagues as a woman who worked hard for the community in addition to being Gardiner’s first woman Mayor. Both Mayor MacLean and former Mayor Brian Rines will be remembering Patty at the Saturday service and the City flag is being flown at half staff to honor her contributions to Gardiner.

Waterfront & Common Plans

Draft plans for both Common and Waterfront projects will be discussed this Wednesday, April 16 at 6:30 pm. This is a very exciting milestone in the planning process. Significant public input has been a vital element of the process to date, and Wednesday will be an equally important time for the community to review the proposals and react. The Bundled Projects Advisory Committee will then review the entire effort from a comprehensive perspective later this month before an interim report comes to the Council this spring.

Schedule

I plan to be visiting my in-laws in Florida from April 15 – 25. During my time away I am very grateful to the Senior Management Team for their coverage; Chuck Applebee April 15-18, Anne Davis April 19-22 and Jason Simcock April 23-25.
