Revaluation Hearings
We are conducting revaluation hearings all this week and as needed next week. The call volume has been lighter than expected and quickly dropped dramatically. In addition, no substantial issues have arisen as a result of hearings and taxpayers are leaving relatively satisfied.
As of Thursday about 13% of taxpayers have called the 800 number given for Vision Appraisal, which is an average or below average reaction. The chart below shows the substantial declines in call volumes throughout the week.
Volunteers Recognized
Last Friday in Biddeford, Janet Slade and Pat Hart were recognized at this year’s downtown conference for Volunteer of the Year for Gardiner Main Street. Janet was very helpful in pulling the GMS Auction event together, and Pat provided leadership on the Business Visitation Survey project. Thanks for your help improving our community!
