UPCOMING MEETINGS
Next Week's City Meetings are available on our Calendar
Below please find an update on recent City activities:
- The Wastewater Advisory Board was unable to get a quorum this month so their next meeting will likely be held in early September. At their next meeting, they will be hearing a presentation on rate structures in other communities and could make a recommendation to the Council about Gardiner’s wastewater rates.
- Congratulations to the Gardiner PD for hosting a successful National Night Out event this past Tuesday. Turnout was great and the several officers who agreed to sit in the dunk tank were good sports. The event helps raise awareness and improve community relations with law enforcement personnel.

- As you know former Fire Chief Fred Hubbard passed away on August 1st. Members of our Fire Department assisted in putting on a memorable funeral service for Chief Hubbard, including carrying his casket on top of Engine No. 1, the truck that he helped the City acquire, from Christ Church to Oak Grove Cemetery. Thank you to our fire service personnel and our condolences to the Hubbard family.

As always, I appreciate the opportunity to serve the people of Gardiner as City Manager.
