CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE
WEEKLY MEMORANDUM

TO:     Mayor MacLean, Councilors and Department Heads
FROM:   Jeffrey Kobrock, City Manager
DATE:   November 2, 2007
RE:     Weekly Memo

Council Schedule
As a reminder to the October 12 memo where I discussed the upcoming Council schedule, the next meeting will be November 28. Thereafter we will meet December 5th and 12th in a valiant effort to clear up business before the Holidays.

Palmer Fountain
Although the weather is no longer appropriate for fountains, the Palmer Fountain has been restored to a fully functional status. The Gardiner Water District has been instrumental in troubleshooting the plumbing/pumping system and in developing solutions.

Elections
Remember that Saturday, November 3 City Hall will be open for absentee voting from 8 am to noon. On November 6 the polls are open from 8 am to 8pm at our consolidated site, the Boys and Girls Club on Pray Street.
