UPCOMING MEETINGS

Next Week's City Meetings are available on our Calendar

Council Schedule

We have organized the Council calendar through January. Regular business meetingsare scheduled on December 10th and 17th.  Inauguration is scheduled for January 14th and facilitated governance workshops are schedule for January 21st and 28th.

Dangerous Building Complaint

As directed by Council on November 5, we filed a dangerous building complaint in Superior Court today. The complaint cites numerous serious safety issues at the Wlodylo property, and asks the Court to impose corrective actions to preserve the safety of those at the Wlodylo residence and nearby residences. We conducted a press briefing concurrent with the filing of the complaint; it is unusual that we have not been able to focus the owner’s attention on these safety concerns and needed to resort to the neutral authority of the court. We provided to press a Fact Sheet and statement and the complaint  itself. The complaint included the professional engineer’s report that identified the serious concerns of structural integrity and safety.

Great Press

The Capital Weekly front page features a really wonderful article about the regional approach we have pioneered with the Riverfront Bond grant application. Congrats Jason!
