Maine Municipal Association Front Porch Meetings
The Maine Municipal Association is sponsoring a series of “Front Porch” meetings around the state. The purpose is to discuss MMA services and priorities with members. Five areas are targeted for focused discussion – the annual convention, regional meetings, electronic communications, electronic transactions and financial management training and assistance. The Kennebec County meeting is at Augusta City Center, Wednesday, March 28, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Gardiner Board of Trade Awards
Former Mayor Rines was honored at the Gardiner Board of Trade annual meeting this week. Brian received the special recognition award for his fourteen years of leadership as Mayor. Also recognized were Associated Grocers, Mystic Maine Quilts and Up the Creek.
