Day of Caring
The United Way’s annual Day of Caring is scheduled for April 27 in Gardiner. High school students spend the day working on community improvement projects. Activities range from routine to unique. In the past the Steamboat Lane Trail got a huge boost when busloads of teens pulled brush out of the area, and many years the Common gazebo and fence get some new paint and cemeteries get a good raking.
Go Live!
We have successfully hurdled many Go Live events as the Unifund software modules are implemented, but the most recent is a real milestone. We produced our first payroll out of Unifund this week. Although many are contributing to the overall successful implementation, our payroll conversion is due primarily to the hard work and dedication of Pat Coty. As with every software module implementation, there will be bumps in the road, but we all owe Pat a big thank you for her great work on this exciting step forward.
