Skatepark
Ingrid Stanchfield is convening a group to determine feasibility issues for a new skatepark. Topics for discussion include safety, supervision, location, initial and ongoing funding. Many good lessons were learned, and will be used in this discussion, from the relatively short life span of the skatepark associated with Boys and Girls Club at its former downtown location.
New Services Available for City Staff
Pat Coty will soon be providing the details of very exciting new services to be offered to employees. As we transition to our new bank the most noticeable change will be the availability of direct deposit. TD Banknorth also has agreed to offer a whole host of consumer banking services free to City employees.
Transitioning to a new bank is a complicated affair, and could take several months. Pat Coty will soon give everyone the exciting details.
