CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE
WEEKLY MEMORANDUM

TO:            Mayor Rines, Councilors and Department Heads
FROM:      Jeffrey Kobrock, City Manager
DATE:      March 26, 2004
RE:             Weekly Memo

Meetings for the Week of March 29, 2004
Council Meeting.                        Thurs., April 1, 7:00 pm City Hall

City/Water District Cooperation
Ten folks representing the KVCOG, Maine Rural Water Association (MRWA), the Water District and the City spent most of Monday reviewing the draft management evaluation that MRWA has authored with support from KVCOG. It was a great session with many positive suggestions coming from the group to make the report an even stronger document. We came up with so many suggestions that the next draft may take longer than anticipated to prepare. I would now expect this report to be presented to Council in May.

Johnson Hall Task Force
The Task Force had a really great meeting on Wednesday with ideas flying and excellent progress. The timeline calls for “working up a model” and fleshing out the details, so we are right where we need to be in order to report back to the Council in June.
