Ebudget
We have included another Ebudget in this packet. This is provided to update the previous budget workshop schedule. Although nothing other than the workshop schedule has changed, we are providing the entire Ebudget so that you have one complete document and can delete the other to avoid future confusion.
Waterfront Project
We have obtained environmental permitting for the Waterfront Project. Permitting for a project like this is always very difficult given the water quality/shoreland issues. In addition the scope of our waterfront plans is very ambitious and this further complicated the permitting process. Chris Paszyc and his team have done a great job obtaining these permits in record time.
Johnson Hall Partnership
The Johnson Hall Renovation Partnership continues to implement recommendations from the 2004 Task Force. A multi-disciplinary feasibility/business planning project is about to start. An interdependent set of tasks has been set out for a team of professionals representing architectural, facility/theatre design, organizational development, business planning and fundraising expertise. The results will be woven together for a powerful feasibility study and strategic plan for renovation and sustained operations. This is an exciting milestone in an important and challenging economic/community development project. We will schedule an agenda item to provide an update in the near future.
