Summer Programs
Anne Davis reports an unusually big response to summer reading programs at the Library. Ingrid is equally pleased with unparalleled participation in summer programs. It is heartening that such healthy activities are attracting great interest and very important that we are able to offer such important services to our community.
Vacation
I will be on vacation until August 21. During this time the senior management team will fill in as acting manager to handle circumstances as they arise. A “duty schedule” has been developed to organize the time each member of the team will act as manager, and the entire team can assist with circumstances as needed. Molly will have both the duty schedule and my contact information throughout this period of time. In general terms Chuck Applebee is taking the first week, Jason Simcock and Anne Davis are taking the subsequent weeks and Pat Gilbert is willing to fill any holes that may arise in people’s schedules as needed.
Weekly Packet
The Weekly Packet is taking a vacation as well. The packet returns on August 25, assumedly well rested and refreshed.
