RE: Weekly Memo
Meetings for the Week of August 28, 2006
No Scheduled Meetings
Waterfront
The timber crib work on the waterfront has been progressing very nicely with no major obstacles. The contractor is currently slightly ahead of schedule. Jason has been posting great pictorial updates at gardinermaine.com so the whole world can enjoy the progress.
Northwest Quadrant
This project is also progressing very well, with few bumps in the road. Autumn Street is nearing completion, with paving schedule in the next few weeks, Plaisted Street is about halfway completed and the sewer main and storm drainage have been completed on Clinton Street, with the other elements to be addressed next.
New England Management Institute
I will attend the annual Maine Town and City Management Association’s New England Management Institute August 30 - September 1. The curriculum is always challenging and this year will focus on facilitative leadership and development skills.
