Northwest Quadrant
The Northwest Quadrant project got started in earnest this week as an advisory committee looked at proposals from engineering firms for design and construction management services. This is an extremely exciting project given the scope (full road and infrastructure reconstruction of six city streets), the coordination with the Housing program for maximum impact, and the fact that the project addresses the priorities of the City and the Water District in a cooperative project.

Downtown/Waterfront Project
This project as well is close to making major leap. The Waterfront Task Force has endorsed a comprehensive development strategy that we will present to the Council soon.
