Northwest Quadrant Update
This project is making great progress and is right on schedule. Autumn, Plasited and Clinton Street are ready for paving and we are essentially waiting for the paving subcontractor at this point. Pope Street will quickly move from the very intrusive pipe installation phase to the much less disruptive work of road and sidewalk preparation. Streets will be receiving the base paving this fall and the finish coat next year. This allows for a much higher quality final product as the roads are used for several months and go through a winter before final paving. Griffin and Cherry Streets are scheduled for next year.
Etickets for Fall Clean Up!
Clean Up starts October 2 in District Four and continues district by district on a weekly basis throughout October. Tickets are on sale at City Hall and at www.gardinermaine.com. It is exciting to offer etickets as an experiment for future ecommerce applications.
