CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE
WEEKLY MEMORANDUM
TO:              Mayor Rines, Councilors and Department Heads
FROM:   Jeffrey Kobrock, City Manager
DATE:   October 21, 2005
RE:             Weekly Memo
Meetings for the Week of October 24, 2005

Library Closed for Conference                   Mon., Oct. 24, 2005

Johnson Hall Renovation Partnership
Councilors and interested department heads should put November 1 on their calendars. The consulting team will present a full draft of the Johnson Hall Renovation Plan. This will be a critical presentation of the entire plan by the whole team and will set the direction and priorities for the foreseeable future. The planning process itself is ambitious, integrating five separate functional areas (facility plan, facility cost, business plan, fundraising plan, and organizational development plan) into a comprehensive whole. In addition, the project plan itself is likely to represent some real challenging scenarios, as this is a very complex project. The meeting is Tuesday November 1, 4-7 p.m. at the Christ Church Parish Hall. (The planning for this event is still underway, and the entire 4-7 pm time may not be needed.)
