CITY MANAGER’S OFFICE
WEEKLY MEMORANDUM
TO:              Mayor Rines, Councilors and Department Heads
FROM:   Jeffrey Kobrock, City Manager
DATE:   November 23, 2005
RE:             Weekly Memo
Meetings for the Week of November 28, 2005

Council Meeting                         Thurs.., Dec.1, 7:00 pm, City Hall

City Staff
It is with great pleasure that we welcome public works staffer Reggie Grant in his new role as Public Works Supervisor. After a complete process that involved many very qualified candidates, Reggie was the candidate of choice. It is always particularly satisfying to help City personnel advance within the organization. Reggie has been with city for six years in both the police and public works departments. Congratulations Reggie!

Public Works
The four corners of the Marston and Costello Roads has been carefully watched since the extraordinary rains in October as high water and flooding have been a problem. Finally, the water has subsided enough for some remedial work. We have increased the number and the capacity of culverts to alleviate any future problems in this area.
